How can I assess a neighbourhood before visiting?
Start with the amenities map on the listing. Open More details in the nearby amenities widget, then expand the categories that matter to you: groceries for everyday errands, schools and hospitals for family needs, or cafés, parks and nightlife for your downtime. Review the places and distances shown, and use the map markers to understand how they sit around the property.
What do the walkability, driving and public transport scores mean?
They are comparative estimates of local access. The calculations draw on a representative set of nearby destinations, distance, category variety, mapped road and path density, and access to transport stops. Use them to compare locations alongside the map. They do not provide journey times or use live traffic, route conditions, accessibility data, public transport timetables or service frequency.
Why can the local scores tell different stories?
The scores describe different aspects of a location. A property may have convenient access to transport stops but fewer types of amenities nearby. Open the amenity categories to see what contributes to the picture, then weigh the places you will actually use. A high overall score is less useful than knowing whether the location fits your own routine.
Does a missing map marker mean an amenity is not nearby?
Not necessarily. The widget uses available map data and a representative selection of nearby places, so coverage and freshness can vary. A missing place or low category score is a reason to investigate further. Check the specific school, hospital, shop or transport service directly, especially when it is important to your decision.
What should I ask the AI assistant before a viewing?
Where enabled, use the listing’s AI assistant to investigate the details that matter to you: Which rooms could work as a home office? What does the listing say about outdoor space, parking or shared facilities? Are there floor plans or other details I should review? Its answers depend on the information available about the listing. Take any gaps or unanswered questions to the professional before your visit.
How can AI redesign help me compare a property's potential?
On eligible properties where the professional has enabled redesign, use an approved photo to explore a different room style or an outdoor concept. Compare the concept with the original image to separate what appeals to you about the space from its current decoration. A redesign is a visual idea; confirm dimensions, condition and the feasibility of any changes with the appropriate professional.
